Donald Trump is ready to sue ‘The View’ host Rosie O’Donnell for her verbal attack on him after he announced he was giving Miss USA Tara Conner a second chance. Trump announced he is filing suit against O”Donnell. “She says things that come to her mouth, she’s not smart, she’s crude, she’s ignorant and to be honest I look forward to suing Rosie,” he said. “I’m gonna sue her and I look forward to it. She’s really very dangerous for the show.” Trump declined to elaborate on the details of his proposed legal filings, but added O’Donnell will understand his reasoning. “Rosie will find out what we’re suing her for. She knows what we’re suing her for,” he said adding the lawsuit is already in the works. “It’s something I look very forward to,” he added.O’Donnell attacked Trump, branding him a “snake-oil salesman” and calling his staging of a press conference, in which he decided to allow Miss USA, Tara Conner to keep her crown a publicity stunt. “Because his show ‘The Apprentice’ is starting again in January, he held a big press conference to see if he was going to allow Miss USA, such a prestigious title,” Rosie said on ‘The View’ while rolling her eyes. “It’s basically a model competition. They have one question in Miss USA, yeah and they’re like ‘I’d like to cure cancer and end world hunger, and then I’d like to go to Studio 54 and do some crack.’” Rosie continued her rant lashing out at Donald Trump’s decision to give Tara Conner a second chance. “There he is, hair looping, going everyone, everyone deserves a second chance,” she began. “He’s the moral authority? Left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair, had kids both times, but he’s the moral compass for twenty year olds in America. Donald, sit and spin, my friend.” She also said she expected him to sue her but added “he’ll probably be bankrupt by that time so I won’t have to worry.” In turn, Trump, who became aware of the Rosie comments branded her “a loser.” “Rosie’s been a loser for a long time,” he said. Her magazine failed, she got sued. She folded up like a tent.” Executive Producers of ‘The View,’ Bill Geddie and Barbara Walters weighed in on the verbal fracas releasing a statement, “Both Rosie and Donald are high-spirited, opinionated people. Donald has been a friend of ‘The View’ for many years and Rosie, of course, is our enormously popular moderator. We cherish them both and hope the New Year brings calm and peace.”

Halle Berry has set her sights set on a music career.Berry, who has confirmed she has finished working on her self-titled debut album “Halle,” wants to be admired for more than her acting talents. She said: “I’ve always loved to sing and this album will show people that I can do more than act.” The album was originally due to be released in January, but her hectic filming schedule has pushed the date back to February.She has reportedly recorded tracks with Timbaland and Jamie Foxx, who begged her for a date this summer. Kim Cattrall has confirmed that the highly-anticipated feature film version of ‘Sex And The City’ is officially back on. Since the series ended in 2004, rumors have been circulating the cast would eventually bring the show to the big screen. Cattrall, who played sex-mad Samantha Jones on the series, has spent the last few months acting in David Mamet’s ‘The Cryptogram’ in London. She admits she only found out about the film when she came back to the US. She says, “I’ve just come home and there was just this flood of excitement!” Media reports have claimed the previously planned film fell apart because Cattrall refused to appear with other cast members, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. Allegations of Miss Teen USA Katie Blair’s underage drinking and carousing with Miss USA Tara Conner in New York have led the group Mothers Against Drunk Driving to sever ties with her. In a statement, MADD said it was “disappointed” by news reports of hard partying between 18-year-old Katie Blair and Conner, who tearfully admitted to drinking at New York nightclubs as a minor. “In the past, MADD has teamed with Miss Teen USA to raise awareness about the serious and often deadly consequences of underage drinking,” MADD spokeswoman Heidi Castle said. “However, we do not feel, at this time, that Ms. Blair can be an effective spokesperson on underage drinking and will not ask her to represent MADD in future initiatives.” Donald Trump, a co-owner of the Miss Universe Organization, which includes Miss Teen USA and Miss USA, said he would allow Conner to keep her crown if she settles down and enters alcohol rehab. The Miss Universe Organization spokeswoman Lark-Marie Anton said Blair’s crown also was safe.

‘Lost’ star Evangeline Lilly and boyfriend Dominic Monaghan returned to her rented home to sift through the remains of her home which burned to the ground. The rented home in Kailua, Hawaii, which Lilly shared with two female crew members, was engulfed in flames in the early morning hours, which destroyed the entire building in 30 minutes. Lilly was shooting the hit show at the time of the fire and no one was injured in the blaze. The couple didn’t arrive at the scene until just after sunset and came armed with flashlights and gloves. They sifted through the rubble and managed to salvage a few personal items. Although it had been an emotional day for Lilly, she managed to smile for photographers who were at the scene. Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire.

Signed contracts featuring an array of stars including Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Marlon Brando are to be auctioned off by film studio 20th Century Fox early next year. Over 200 celebrity contracts will go up for auction in New York in an effort to raise money for a Hollywood film charity, including a 1946 memo informing the industry a young Norma Jean Dougherty was changing her name to Marilyn Monroe. Twentieth Century Fox’s co-chairman, Tom Rothman says, “These papers are so cool that, as a fan of that history, I will have to restrain myself from bidding.” Among the items to be auctioned are a contract allowing Elvis to wear his hair how he pleased for ‘Love Me Tender,’and Brando’s 1951 contract for his role in movie ‘Viva Zapata.’ There are also documents bearing the signatures of Rita Hayworth, Judy Garland, Cary Grant and others. The proceeds of the sale, which will take place in January, will go to the Motion Picture and Television fund.

Porter delivered two healthy babies, one weighing five pounds and the other five pounds, four ounces, at 7:56 a.m. at Mount Sinai hospital in New York City .Diddy stopped filming on the movie adaptation of the play ‘Raisin In The Sun’ in Toronto, Canada, to rush to New York for the birth. A statement from Diddy’s publicist Robert Zimmerman says, “Diddy received an early Christmas gift! It gives us great joy to announce the arrival of Diddy’s twin girls. The beautiful, healthy baby girls were born this morning with Diddy by mother, Kim Porter’s side. Diddy had a plane on standby in Toronto where he is filming Raisin in the Sun and made it just in the nick of time for the delivery. Both Kim and the girls are doing great.” The couple, who originally dated in the mid-1990s before reuniting again in 2003, also have a 10-year-old son together.
